Arcos de la Frontera.

After lunch we went up in the bell tower of the Basilica-Parroquia de Santa Marķa for a look around.

A rare imperfect arms-length self-inclusive group photo. Sorry, Nadia!

It was breezy at the top of the tower at the top of the church at the top of the hill.

We chatted with these nice Spaniards for a bit over the roar of the gale.

The castle from the church tower. Unfortunately the castle wasn't open for visitors.

"Maybe it's closed while they're trying to think of a new name for it," suggested Nadia. "They're probably embarrassed."

Another view from the tower.

Big stone churches grow pretty thick in these Spanish hill towns.

Towards the southeastern tip of town, overlooking the Guadalete River.

It was definitely fresh.

Dinner at the upscale Don Miguel's yielded the same sad Spanish cuisine. Ham.

They also had pork.
